Substitute Teachers (Floating Subs, 3 positions, Term)

Buffalo River School is seeking highly motivated and dedicated individuals to fill the BRS Substitute Teacher positions for the remainder of the 2025 school year.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Grade 12 education
• Knowledgeable and experienced working with children and adolescents
• A responsible and reliable individual who believes in quality work
• Ability to engage students in academics and life skills pursuits
• Enthusiasm for the learning process
• Experience working in a classroom setting would be an asset

Responsibilities

• Willingness to aid in the delivery of program components developed by the classroom or Student Services teacher
• Willingness to complete individualized sessions in speech and language
• Ability to maintain confidentiality is required
• Assist students to achieve PPP goals
• Participate in school-based collaborative meetings
• Maintain up to date records and documents
• Engage in professional development as it relates to various roles in supporting student learning and professional growth
• Supervise students in all locations where learning takes place
• Be reliable and punctual
